Stability:

For beginners (and many others), stability is the single most important quality of a kite because of its major impact on safety and ease of use.

Stability generally  refers to the amount of effort a kiter must exert by bar movement to keep a kite safely parked at some point (often zenith) along the edge of the wind window.  Stable kites require less effort than unstable kites.

Peter Lynn Twinskin kites are UNSURPASSED regarding stability and require the least effort and attention of any kite.   In reasonable conditions these kites will stay safely parked WITHOUT the kiter using the bar AT ALL to keep it there.

NO  OTHER  KITES  WILL  DO  THIS  !!

This is incredibly handy for beginners and anyone else who finds themselves wanting to use 2 hands for some pressing chore such as putting on the board, attaching a leash, getting untangled from a leash or kelp, realigning a harness, using a wind meter, getting a drink or walking/crawling over unsafe surfaces (jagged or slippery rocks, driftwood, mud, steep berms etc.).

Furthermore, these kites have an EXCLUSIVE "auto zenith" feature which means that in reasonable wind (and usually unreasonable wind as well) these kites will always GO UP.  The only exception is if you have steered the kite so that it is actually pointing DOWN, then it will usually continue down.   However, EVERY other kite on the market has a tendency to turn themselves downward and crash unless the kiter CONSTANTLY maneuvers it back up.

Also, because there is no uneven weight distribution caused by a large leading edge bladder, Twinskin kites are very difficult to luff and rarely fall if there is a momentary loss of tension on the lines.   Pump up kites, on the other hand, are notorious for suddenly "Hindenberging"  when a  momentary loss of tension on the lines occurs.

As you can see,  this superior stability substantially increases the kiter's safety margin in addition to providing unequalled ease of use.

PLEASE DO NOT ABUSE !

Although these kites allow you to use your hands in ways other kiters cannot, please do NOT ABUSE these features - no matter how hot and willing your significant other may be.    Even with these kites, it is safest to spend the least amount of time on land as possible.

Fast water relaunchability:

The second most important feature of a kite for beginners (and many others) is water relaunchability and although no kite relaunches all the time, most Twinskin models (Vortex, Synergy, Venoms, and Bombas) relaunch as well, or better than, any other kites.

Easy to setup:

No need to pump, the kite inflates itself!  After kiteboarding the deflating zipper lets you pack up fast and easily.
